History : When Naito was very young, he saw his mother have her Star Seed stolen by Sailor Chaos Galaxia. Since she was one of her sailor court, she was the first to have it taken. And his father was slained before he could raise his sword. The poor boy had been forgotten and found himself alone, on a dead planet. But strangly, he didn’t seek revenge.

He was still young when Galaxia returned a different woman. The woman who had once been like an aunt to him. Since he no longer had any parents, Galaxia took him in as a son and treated him as such. He grew up and became a warrior like his father but he had the compassion of his mother. He wanted to help protect the worlds like Galaxia once had and he asked to travel.

Naito was then given the permission to travel to the Earth and use his powers to help those in need. When he found himself with Kaoru, he couldn’t help himself but to tease her. He felt attracted to her. But when Kaoru was about to receive an attack meant for Usagi(Rini), Naito jumped in front of it and got the full force of the attack and revealed his identity to Kaoru.

Even after his injury, Naito and Kaoru didn’t always see eye to eye. Their relationship was a little like how Usagi & Mamoru used to act before their past lives was revealed to them. Until the day, Mamoru was taken and brainwashed, Kaoru was faced-to-face with the evil Tuxedo Mask had her pin down. Naito arrived and told Tuxedo Mask that if he touched his girl, he would have to fight him off. She then knew that he truely loved her.
